Being a lock manufacture doesn't mean being close-minded. Meroni's design vision is so open-ended that a list of all possible applications of the company's products would be almost limitless. They range from automatic door and gate opening systems to mailboxes, from industrial lockers to hospital and institution furnishings, from the changing lockers in fitness centres, spas and clubs to safe deposit boxes for banks.

 

One particular sector that typically uses the company's products is that of vending machines — automatic dispensers of drinks, cigarettes and snacks, as well as slot machines and videogames.

 

Companies operating in the utility sector (gas, water, electricity) have also asked Meroni to design locks for equipment lockers, meters and stopcocks.

 

The application range also extends to access control systems, mechanical and electronic antitheft systems, locks for display cases and notice boards, minibars, cash registers and trade-fair furniture and furnishings.
